ICA's Co-operative Identity - Practising Theory
A special workshop on the ICA Co-operative Identity statement to be held
at Jaipur, Rajasthan in India will help the co-operative movement turn
ideas into action.

"Understanding our identity statement will help co-operators in the Asia
Pacific adapt co-operative development within a changing socio-economic
environment," said ICA Regional Director, Robby Tulus.

Cooperative leaders from across the region will participate in the five-day
seminar beginning August 17 at Jaipur's Mansingh Hotel. Several countries
in the region will share their experiences with co-operative identity crisis.

Participants will also gain practical insight into ICA's co-operative
identity statement as it relates to various co-op sectors.

"Translating our identity statement into guidelines for practical
implementation will be an important aspect of the workshop," said Tulus.

The co-operative identity workshop is a part of the ICA ROAP's long-
term strategic planning process.
