A group of Midwest university professors collaborated on a study that includes a close look at five cooperatives and the impact they have had on their respective communities. These included three new-generation cooperatives, a traditional cooperative that had changed its relationship with members, and a group of local governments using a cooperative business model to deliver services in rural areas.
