Abstract Aaron Sapiro’s concept of cooperative marketing won a brief, intense popularity in the 1920s. Most of us have read about Sapiro’s ideas, but few of us have read any of his writings. Sapiro was a compelling orator and a tireless organizer rather than an academic. We are pleased to reprint this article, published seventy years ago in a popular national magazine, in which Sapiro states his case. Reprinted from the World's Work, May 1923, pp. 84-96.
